The "House" of God is a figurative Universal Assembly of the Righteous of all times, who remain faithful to God through the knowledge and fulfillment of His Will and Commandments; it is His "Church", a community of true doers, evangelists of the Teachings of Jesus Christ to all nations.

 "The House of God" is the spiritual unity of people, in the midst of whom, through the knowledge and fulfillment of the Will of God, the attainment of righteousness is preserved, the Truth is established, and among whom, so spiritually "dwells", God is present by His Spirit.

Negative Meaning.

"House of bondage" is the condition of man enslaved to his own sinful worldview, to the painful dependence of the spirit, soul and body on the sinful demands of the flesh, to slavish submission to sinful patterns, laws, false religious beliefs, doctrines, dogmas, political and other ideologies.

It is a state of ignorance of the Will of God - ways of spiritual deliverance from dependence on sin.

"House of bondage" is also the environment, family, clan, society, in which man is born, brought up and lives, totally subject to the laws of sinful living peoples.
