"Moab" is a symbol of a people spiritually related to the lineage originating with Righteous Lot.

"Moab" is a symbol of a people who have apostatized from God, a wicked people and their deceitful, cunning political and religious leaders, who always wish for "damnation", i.e., the extinction of the righteous people, the righteous, fearing the exposure of their iniquities, wickedness, and lies.

"Moab" is a people who have rejected, violated and perverted the Will of God, but who, after experiencing all the grievous consequences of their departure from God, will repent of their sins, and will therefore be pardoned by God.
