"Consecration" is a symbol of "Blessing", "Anointing", the placing of a person who has learned the Wisdom of God's Will and fulfills it, in pastoral service to men.

"Consecration" is also the giving of one's life to the Will of God, to His Commandments for their fulfillment and evangelization to all nations.
