"Eye" of God is a symbol of God's Laws, Commandments, their all-penetrating, all-encompassing Wisdom, which "sees", directs everything that happens in the world.

"Eye" of God is also a symbol-characteristic of the Patriarchs, Prophets, Christ, Apostles, Righteous, - expressors of the Will of God, His Covenants, Laws, Commandments, correctly defining all phenomena and giving them the correct assessment and characterization.

 "Eye" of God is also a symbol of conscience and reason given by God to man, by means of which God "sees", directs man to the way of life in righteousness.   

"Eye" of man is a symbol of the moral, spiritual basis of man's life, his worldview, way of life, through which he acquires spiritual sight and the ability to correctly or falsely perceive himself and the world around him.
