"Lightning" is a symbol of the fast-acting, revealing, bright Light of the Truth of God's Will, His Commandments, universally proclaimed by the righteous, which illuminate and expel, destroy the "Darkness" of various false teachings, delusions, moral and spiritual wickedness from the consciousness and way of life of the peoples.

"Lightning" is also a symbol of God's punishment of the nations by the consequences of their violations of God's Commandments.
