"Soul" is Hebrew for "breathing beginning. Hebrew "nephesh" means all self-conscious life.  

The word "soul" refers to living beings, both human and animal.   

"My Soul (God)" - is the totality of the expressions of Divine Wisdom in His physical and spiritual Laws.

"Soul" of God is the Person, the Essence of God, His spiritual Essence, manifested in the Wisdom of all His creations, in the Wisdom of the spiritual and material Laws of Being, accessible to the perception and cognition of man.

"The "soul" of God is the Revelation of God's Will, His Covenants, the Commandments, which were preached by the Messengers of God - the Partiarchs, the Prophets, Jesus Christ and His Apostles.

"The soul" of man is the personality of man, his self-awareness and self-expression, the essence of his being, which determines and expresses his inner state and his relation to the outer world.

"Soul" of a person is the totality of his sensations, experiences, feelings, thoughts, worldview, and way of life.

It is the "Face" of a person, his genetic, psychological "portrait", his certain inclinations, way of thinking, actions, abilities to emotionally perceive the surrounding world.
