"Advocate" is the God who revealed to man His Will, His Commandments, by knowing and obeying which man gains wisdom, discretion, prudence, knowledge, which protects and shields him from the commission of sin and its consequences.

"Advocate" is one of the characteristics of God's manifestations, actions.

"Advocate" is also the Providence of God - God's unknown laws, laws that protect and defend man when he is unable to protect and save himself by his own strength.  

Negative Meaning.

"Advocate" are various laws, legislation, constitutions, traditions, ideologies, false teachings, religious beliefs, etc., created by various rulers, ideologues, with the help of which a sinful living person vainly hopes to justify his deeds, soothe his conscience, protect, shield himself from evil, lawlessness, committed by similar wicked people.
