Commandment

The commandments of Jehovah God are an expression of His unchanging Will, which is revealed to the nations in the Holy Scriptures of the prophets.

The Commandments of God reveal the meaning and purpose of man's life, determine man's true relationship to his spiritual Father, man to man, and to the world around him. They regulate human life in all areas of its manifestation.

The Commandments reveal to man the true relationship to his Creator and to his fellow man. Their fulfillment revives in man the spiritual "Image and "Likeness" of God, leading him to Eternal Life.

The Ten Commandments are the fullness of the Divine Will, by the fulfillment of which man obtains all the benefits commanded to him by God.

The Ten Commandments are the most important spiritual and moral Criterion, the moral norm of life for all peoples, keeping man and society from moral and spiritual degradation.

The Commandments are also all the Laws established by God for the beneficial spiritual and physical life of man, the laws of the existence of the Universe.

"The Mosaic Commandment" is God's revealed and bequeathed to Moses His holy Will, known by Moses and transmitted by him to the people in the perfection of the Ten Commandments.

The Commandments of Christ are the teaching of Jesus Christ about the Will of God and His example of righteous, holy living.
