"Beloved" is the spiritual image of God, the gracious Creator of all that exists, the Creator of Man, who, having loved the wholesome Will of God with all his heart and mind, calls God his "Beloved.

The "Beloved" is also a symbol of the perfect Man, Jesus Christ, who, through constant knowledge and fulfillment of the Will of God, became the "Beloved" spiritual "Son" of God, that is, He embodied in Himself the spiritual "Image" and "Likeness" of God the Father.

The "beloved" "Sons of God" are also all righteous people, striving to attain His spiritual "Image" and "Likeness" by unceasing fulfillment of the Will of God and His Commandments.

Negative meaning.

"Beloved" is the people of God, who know and do His Will, His Commandments, who became a messenger of His Word to other nations, but who became proud of their knowledge of the Will of God, and so found themselves spiritually devastated, unable to see the Spirit, the Essence of the Divine Word, began to perceive only its literal content, fell into pharisaism and idolatry.
