"Rib" both in the literal meaning protects the most important organs and functions of the body, and in the spiritual meaning is a symbol of those people who are "taken" from "Adam", i.e. spiritually "born" from the original true Faith of Man, created in the spiritual "Image" and "Likeness" of God.  

"The Rib" is the people, by the knowledge and realization of the Covenants of God, prepared, inspired and destined to defend the purity of the Faith in the Truth of God's Will and to "give birth" to new followers of it.

"Rib" symbolizes the Community of people who live according to God's Commandments and therefore are able and called to serve as a spiritual protection, a hedge against the destructive penetration of everything sinful into the inner spiritual state of Man and against everything destructive, perverting the Word of God's Covenants, His Commandments.
