"Nineveh" symbolizes that part of the people of the sinful world who will hear the Word of God's Will, preached by God's Messengers, Prophets, Righteous and these "Ninevites", having realized their crimes of God's Commandments, will repent of them, begin to fulfill them and so receive salvation from committing sins and their consequences.
