Pharisee

Pharisee - from Hebrew "parash", "parush" - "to interpret", "to explain", "interpreter" (of the Law); "to separate" "to elect", "chosen".

      Also means "separated," i.e., one who proudly separates, arrogantly "equates" himself from "infidels," i.e., from people with other religious views and considers only his own worldview true.
