     "Harlot" is a symbol of venal religion, corrupted by ties with the sinful world, relationships with its powerful violent political, economic systems.

       "The harlot is a symbol of those Jewish and Christian religions that have strayed from the true knowledge and fulfillment of the Will of God, whose leaders have surrendered to the temptation of sinful compromise with the pagan, secular world and its rulers.

       This is the Biblical image of a religion displeasing God, which perverted the Truth of His Will, created distrust and disregard for the Word of God, and so gave birth to open, militant godlessness, with tragic, disastrous consequences for the nations.

       "Harlot" is a generalized image of the false religious beliefs that pervert the scriptures and give rise to many ideological, political fornications, various religious delusions, and all the interrelated crimes of mankind against the Will of God.

        This harlot religion always sits on the "scarlet beast," i.e., ruling the brutal politics of the world and its leaders, spiritually feeding them, teaching them its religious lies, and continuing to assert itself on the brutal political system of the modern world.
