"Ties" is a symbol of the gracious Will of God, which by His Laws, Commandments keeps people from breaking them, committing sin, evil, binds man with "ties", "chains" of Love, which God manifests to man, revealing His Will to him.

Negative Meaning.                                                                                                            "Ties" is a symbol of religious false doctrines, beliefs, various philosophies, dogmas, political ideologies, which variously, explicitly and implicitly enslave man, shackle his mind, conscience and plunge him into a state of spiritual and physical slavery to sin.

"Ties," is also a symbol of the various consequences of violations of God's Commandments, of the iniquities committed by peoples, which put them in a cramped position of dependence on problems from which they cannot free themselves, get rid of.
