"Tears" is a symbol of all the suffering, abuse, persecution, oppression of all kinds, murder of the righteous, who uncompromisingly, boldly, constantly expose, expose sinners with the Truth of God's Word and therefore endure from them malice, envy, hatred, persecution, moral and physical suffering for their adherence to the Commandments of God, the Teaching of Jesus Christ.

"Tears" are also a symbol of the deepest regret felt by the righteous at the sight of the spiritual desolation of the people, figuratively called "Israel," who, knowing God's Will, have rejected, violated, perverted it.
