Sabbath

"Sabbath" - the Hebrew verb "shavat" ("shabbat") means "to cease from any action," "to rest from anything."

"Shabbat" is a prototype of the new time, the seventh and final historical period of Divine creation of all Genesis, when everything created by God was brought to the highest perfection and became absolutely in accordance with the Wisdom of the Will of His original Designs, when the process of creation of Man according to the spiritual "Image" and "Likeness" of God was completed.

"The Sabbath is a symbol of the coming Kingdom of the Will of God in the nations, of the Kingdom of Righteousness, of Peace, of the Kingdom of the eternal Spirit of the Truth of God in man.

"The Sabbath is also a type of the fullness of the true knowledge of the Will of God and the fullness of the measure of its fulfillment by man, concerning his God-given capacities and abilities.

It is a type of the new, righteous, true, godly, peaceful state of mind of man, united to the Spirit of God in the steady fulfillment of His Commandments.

The Sabbath is also the time, the day of the week in which man devotes himself as much as possible to the spiritual edification of the Word of Truth of Holy Scripture, its study, contemplation and comprehension of the greatness of God's creatures, nature.

It is the day on which one looks at the prototype of the future "Day of Rest," the "Kingdom" of God's Will in the nations, and sums up the days of the earthly week lived.

It is man's spiritual weekly "confession" to himself and to the Will of God.
