The "Way" of God, the "Way" of the Lord is a godly way of life, offered originally by God to man to follow God's Laws, Commandments, fulfilling which in this way man comes to achieve a righteous way of life, leading him to Eternal Life.

"The Way" of God, the Lord's Way is also called the "Way" of Life, the "Way" ancient, holy, most excellent, eternal, the "Way" in the "Sanctuary," the "Way" of peace, the "Way" of straightness, the "Way" of reason, the "Way" of the Statutes of God. 

"The Way" of Life, holy, straight, living, eternal, is the Commandments offered by God, by fulfilling which man is delivered from committing sin and its consequences.

 "The Way of Life" is the Teachings of Jesus Christ, which is the most perfect, true and only "Way" that reveals to man the Will of God and the "Path" that man must follow to attain a righteous earthly life and Eternal Life.

"The Way" of man is a symbol of the direction, character, essence of man's thinking and way of life.

Negative Meaning. 

"The Way of Cain", "The Way" dangerous, the way "unkind", "crooked" - it is a rejection, a crime of the Will of God, His Commandments, false service to God by man, guided by purely carnal, earthly interests, for the sake of profit, acquisition of material prosperity; it is the way of God-hatred, godlessness, lawlessness, wickedness, inevitably leading to "perdition", i.e. to the loss of Eternal Life.
