"Forgiveness" is God's pardon of a person who has ceased a sinful lifestyle, who repents of his iniquities, by revealing to him His Will, His Commandments, the following of which delivers the person from a false worldview and from committing sins, saves him from the punishment of their consequences, and leads to the attainment of a life of righteousness.
