"Hope" is an expectation of what a person believes in and strives for, it is a feeling of confidence in the possibility of realization of the desired. 
Hope arises and is based on the faith of a person and moves him to achieve the purpose and meaning of his life.
Hope is one of the innate features of human nature.
"Hope" true - is the confidence of man in the truth, holiness, accomplishment of the Will of God, in the inevitability of the fulfillment of all His Promises, in the grace of the fulfillment of God's Commandments and the desire to achieve righteousness, leading to the acquisition of Eternal Life.
Negative Meaning. 
False, phantom, unfulfilled hope is an erroneous belief in that unrighteous, unfaithful thing which contradicts the Laws, Commandments, Teachings of Christ and the Apostles established by God and therefore cannot be realized. 
False hope is a hope that is not supported by the desire to realize what one believes in, what one desires.
