"Mother" is a symbol of "Church", "Wife", spiritual Assembly and unity of true doers of the Will of God, His Commandments, in the midst of which the proclamation of the Word of God spiritually "born", the next generations of righteously living people are brought up.

Negative meaning.

"Mother" is a symbol of any religious, ideological, philosophical system, their leaders and followers, introducing in the minds of peoples of various pernicious ideas, views, dogmas, false teachings, spreading, spiritually "giving birth" - multiplying, their new adherents.                                                            

 "Mother Harlot" is also an organization, adherents of a religious system, who in relation to the Will of God committed moral, spiritual "fornication", i.e. turned to false beliefs, dogmas, deviated from the path of true Life offered to man by God, and therefore "giving birth", bringing up people of perverse thinking and way of life.
