"Idol", "Idols" are any false idea of God used as a means, a method, a form, a certain cult for worship, veneration, deification.

"Idol" is anything that is religiously worshipped instead of the Creator, that is raised to a cult of unquestioning and absolute veneration, imposed as an absolute value.

 "Idol" is power, money, a religious dogma, a political idea, which one serves wholeheartedly, devotedly; it is also the mind of a person in a state of self-aggrandizement, pride, high ego, material success.

"Idol" is, inconsistent with God's Commandments, false ideas about anything, about anyone, beliefs that completely subordinate man's thinking, making him a blind imitator, a servant of falsehood.

"Idol" is the object of deification, carnal passion, reckless, fanatical, blind love, blind service, attachment, total self-giving, total submission.

"Idol" is also man's sinful goal, fame, success, power, money, dream, chimera, to which man devotes all his energies and time.

"Idolatry" is the denial of the Truth of God's Will, the worship of created objects and giving them divine characteristics, also the deification of religious, political figures, their ideas, dogmas.

"Idolatry" is a superstition contrary to God's Covenants, an extremely dangerous superstition, which serves man, leading him to moral decay, to enslavement.
