Canaan

Canaan is the son of Ham and grandson of the Patriarch Noah, the ancestor of the tribes of Canaan. 
Canaan had numerous descendants known by the common name of "Cana-nei".
The Canaanites are the indigenous inhabitants of the land of Canaan. 
"The Canaanite language" is a new way of thinking and living of people who have turned to the knowledge and fulfillment of God's Commandments. 
Negative Meaning.
 To Canaan, according to the letter of the narrative, the curse of slavery that Ham brought upon himself by his shameless desecration of his father, the righteous Noah, while he slept. 
Canaan is an image of Ham's apostasy, perversion, and desecration of the true service of God.
The Canaanite tribesmen were constantly fighting against each other, worshipping the gods Baal, Aschter, Daugon and Moloch. 
"The land of Canaan" is a symbol of the Gentile nations to whom God sent the people of Israel, who know His Will, His Commandments.
