"Head" is a symbol of Jehovah God, His all-encompassing, all-powerful, overriding, foundational, eternal and perfect Will of God, which is manifested in His physical Laws that govern the development of the universe, as well as - in the spiritual and moral Laws, the Commandments that define human life.

"Head" is also a symbol of Jesus Christ as the Founder of His "Church," the Assembly of people who follow His Gospel Teaching, in which the fullness of God's sovereign Will is revealed, by the knowledge and embodiment of which man achieves life in righteousness, leading to Eternal Life.

Negative Meaning.

"Head" is a symbol of the political, religious rulers of the world, their domineering, ruling, aggressive sinful ideologies, dogmas, false teachings, which are the main cause of the physical and spiritual enslavement of peoples. 

"Head" is also a symbol of the religious leaders of the "House of Jacob," that is, people who know the Will of God, but who violate and distort it.
