"Gospel" literally means "good news" and is composed of the words: goodness and good news.
The word "good" means "good," "good," "right. It means the highest measure of goodness. The word "message" means not so much the message communicated as the very act of communicating good, good news about the way of attaining righteousness.
"The Gospel" of God is the Good, Good News of the true understanding and fulfillment of God's Covenants, Commandments, His Will, known and conveyed to the nations by God's Messengers: the Patriarchs, the Prophets, Jesus Christ and His Apostles.
Knowledge and fulfillment of God's Will, His Covenants, Commandments opens to man the possibility of testing the highest measure of true Goodness, of experiencing the varied Goodness of living in righteousness.
The word "Gospel" now refers to the Books of the Bible, called the New Testament, which are the Teachings of Christ.
