Burden

"Burden" of Jesus Christ, "burden easy," is following the gracious Will of God as expressed in the Gospel teaching of Jesus Christ, imitating His holy way of life, which opens up, facilitates man to find a life of righteousness, agreement with his conscience, with his fellow man.

"Burden"- in a negative sense-is a symbol of bondage, slavery, man's despotic rule over man.

"Burden" is the spiritual and moral state of dependence, the subjection of man to the slavery of the sinful demands of the flesh, the dictates of vices and sins.

"Burden" is anything that psychologically, spiritually, physically burdens, burdens, constrains, oppresses, suppresses man, is a burden to him in his spiritual, moral development. Everything that is improperly, contrary to God's commandments is imposed on a person by external circumstances (society, family, etc.), that cannot be avoided and involuntarily has to be endured, experienced, felt.

To cast off the "yoke of burden" is to free oneself completely from all these burdens. (See "yoke.")

"Burden of burden" of man is also his perverted understanding of the Word of "the living God" (Jer.23:33-36), - distortion by a purely literalist perception of the spiritual and figurative meaning of the sayings of the Scriptures, which throws man into superstition, fear, fanaticism, ritualism, imposes on him the burden of fulfilling "human commandments", that is, the burden of living not according to the laws of God.
